The Board of Directors of the company JIŽNÍ CENTRUM BRNO, a.s. decided based on recommendation of the evaluation commission on the most convenient project of the tender "Revitalization of the area Trnitá - Opuštěná" which was introduced by the company EUROPARK-FP, a.s.

It is a polyfunctional building called Palác Trnitá which main function will be housing. The Palác Trnitá is an eight-storey building designed according to pattern of the houses from interwar period with emphasis on simplicity and clarity of expression of the structure. The inspiration was e.g. Palác Morava on Divadelní Street, the Alfa arcade at the intersection of the streets Poštovská and Jánská, or the Obchodní a obytný dům on the corner of Masarykova and Orlí street.

The part of the building, which will offer about 160 apartments, inter-block park and commercial space, will also be a three floors underground parking with a capacity of more than 400 parking spaces. The entire project should be completed in 2014.

Brno City Council in force of the assembly of the company JIŽNÍ CENTRUM BRNO, a.s. approved at its session on 11.5.2011 the annual financial statement of the company JIŽNÍ CENTRUM BRNO, a.s. of 2010 and took note of the annual report of the company including the report on activity of the company and on the supposed development of entrepreneurship, report and statement of the auditor, report on relation among connected persons and report of the Board of Supervisors.
